Portrait in Time (excerpt)
2004, 43 minutes, DV CAM
A video portrait of Chatham in southeast England, home to a community that has faced many changes to its identity and way of life over the last 20 years since the closure of its dockyard. Located in an empty shop in the local shopping centre, Larsen invited people to drop in and share their lives and perspectives on Chatham’s past present and future. What resulted was Portrait in Time, a film that offers an emotive and poetic reflection of the town and its people.
