Odyssey follows Jason, a husband and father fighting for his life in the Mediterranean Sea.

​

Set in a near-future Britain shaped by economic collapse, the film reflects present-day tensions pushed to an extreme: precarious labour, failing public services, and a political climate increasingly defined by far-right influence and hostility towards immigrants. With the EU dissolved and borders closed, Jason joins an exodus of Europeans paying smugglers for the promise of a life elsewhere — until the crossing ends in disaster.
